Saorview Recognises Professional Bodies for Installers.

The following organisations are recognised by SAORVIEW and are listed on our website. These organisations will be able to provide consumers with a list of registered members in their area.  

  • Confederation of Aerial Industries Ltd.
  • Irish Satellite and Aerial Association
  • National Guild of Master Craftsmen

 

 

 

Logo Use

The SAORVIEW logo is for use by manufacturers on approved receivers and by registered retailers to communicate the selling of approved receivers ( Set top boxes and iDTVs ) at the point of sale through retail premises, and on websites by registered online retailers.

The SAORVIEW logo may not be used in relation to Installation Services (eg: on vehicles )

SAORVIEW is a registered trademark owned by RTÉ.


RTÉ's Saorview Logo is only on approved products:

If a TV or Setbox doesn't have this logo it may not be fully compatible.

The CAI is a UK association. Unlike Ireland many Installers would do Aerials only.

The ISAA is dedicated to setting Professonal Standards for Irish Aerial and Dish Installations from the simple to complex distribution for Apartments and Hotels with Satellite, Terrestrial and Broadband. Only Professionals that are proficient in Aerial and Dish Install (Irish Terrestrial and UK Freesat TV) with proper Public Liability Insurance and adequate Health & Safety Training/Procedures are certified as members.

The National Guild of Master Craftsmen is dedicated to protecting the Skills and Integrity of Tradesmen.
